An eclectic group of student vocalists from around the college (and around the world), Concert Choir performs traditional works from throughout the ages and modern concert-in-the-dark, combining acoustic voice with electronics, commissioning new works, and collaborating with international soloists and ensembles, as well as with other ensembles in the Valley. Highlights of recent years include performances of Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem and John Rutter’s Mass of the Children, and premieres of works by composers Gabriela Lena Frank, Mulgrew Miller, Libby Larsen, and Svetlana Bukvich.
