Jazz Ensemble explores a wide variety of jazz styles with a strong emphasis on individual and group improvisation, and we often invite internationally touring artists to join the party onstage—recent guest artists have included NEA Jazz Masters Phil Woods & Bob Dorough as well as Bill Goodwin, Brian Charette, Sam Burtis and Neil Wetzel.

For our November 2019 concert, we invite two guests to share the stage with us:  Czech guitarist Libor Šmoldas and American alto saxophonist Matt Vashlishan.

This is a BIG band: five saxophones, five trumpets, four trombones, piano, bass, guitar, and drums.

We will be swinging, sizzling, and free-wheeling.
