Led by trumpeter, Pulitzer Prize-winner, and nine-time Grammy Award-winner Wynton Marsalis, this amazingly versatile band commands a vast repertoire ranging from original compositions to masterworks by Duke Ellington, Fletcher Henderson, Thelonious Monk, Mary Lou Williams, Dizzy Gillespie, Charles Mingus, and many others. It’s a rare opportunity to experience this notable orchestra up close at the Williams Center.
