Owing to COVID safety precautions, the Chamber Orchestra has been reenvisioned this semester as two smaller ensembles. Струнный секстет (Stunnyy sekstet) performs works of baroque composers Andreas Ostwald (1634-1665) and Petrus Hercules Brehy (1673-1737), and the Allegro movement of the Sextet for Strings by Aleksandr Porfiryevich Borodin (1833-1887); The Lachner Quartet performs excerpts from the Quartet in G Major, Op. 107 by the German composer and conductor Iganz Lacher (1807-1895).
