Williams Center for the Arts

Under the visionary leadership of Eduardo Vilaro, Ballet Hispánico performs an eclectic repertory by choreographers who fuse Latin movement with classical and contemporary techniques, creating a new style of concert dance in which theatricality and passion propel every move. The company returns to the Williams Center in works by Latina choreographers, including Mexican-American Michelle Manzanales, who intertwines folkloric details with contemporary dance in Con Brazos Abiertos, an amusing and frank look at life caught between two cultures. “Ballet Hispánico shows what it is to be Latino in the modern world” (London Financial Times).

This performance is specially scheduled with families in mind and suitable for children 8 and older.

Tickets: $27 adults, $6 youth and students
