Bring the rhythm! Percussion Ensemble concerts circumnavigate the globe, taking the Williams Center stage with instruments and compositions from assorted regions and traditions. Recent performances have included music from West Africa, Bali, Japan, Latin America, and a number of contemporary styles and genres from jazz to J-pop. Whether it features Japanese taiko or an African “djembe djam” (often both!), this concert is always a party.
