Painters Kim Thomas Malm (LC ’90) and Michael Kondel find Common Ground in a joint exhibition. Collected fragments of space and objects that spark personal nostalgia form Kondel’s narratives; Malm yearns to recall a sense of place and familial history through her investigation of space and juxtapositions of imagery. These thoughts and feelings become tangible when tethered to spaces which help aid the viewer and artist as they explore the reality of their world.
