Wednesday / October 9 / 7 p.m.
Williams Center for the Arts, Room 108

Laura Larson’s book, Hidden Mother, is a hybrid of photographic history, memoir, essay, and poetry centered around the photographic concept of “hidden mothers:” women trying to hide themselves from the camera while holding their children for the tedious act of portrait photography in the 19th century.

Larson will discuss the book and other projects.
